The followers I mentioned just fall into 'sexual innuendoes, 4th wall breaks, forced jokes and semi or very annoying voice' in either 1 or all 4 categories. Going off the most endorsed followers, I've tried Recorder, Sofia, Mrissi, Vilja, some succubus vampire girl, and a few other minor ones like Onean. But besides those I just can't get into any of the other popular follower mods which are all female (beaides interesting NPC which I haven't used any followers from yet) I love Inigo, Lucien, Hoth(I think) And Auri.
They really give the game life compared to the hollow shells of all the vanilla followers.
Okay they're not bad but they really cater to a specific type of personĬustom followers are imo one of the best things about Skyrim modding.
